  Honestly one of the best dental facility I have ever been to And Dr. Vella and Dr. Kris are absolutely fantastic people but if you’re on a budget And rely on tight financial planning Beware!!!. This location struggles to Accurately communicate exact financial Commitment that will be expected to be paid by the patient. I Have paid this account in full many times just to find out more large charges were generated well after account was paid in full With No additional work being done. I understand some of the issue lies with the insurance companies and how prompt they are But the provider may want to consider not Billing the patient until they are confident And can make a commitment of the Exact totals due... Such a shame as I traveled over an hour for years to go to this dentist And have invested much.

  I went here with my friend for her to get her teeth cleaned - a nice normal regular routine cleaning. She has had a wire retainer permanently installed in her mouth for years - her old one lasted 10 years and she had just had it replaced three years ago. During the cleaning, her technician/dentist broke off the permanent retainer. They then after the appointment assured her that it couldn't have been THEIR fault, even though it was performing perfectly just before and the dentist visit was the only trauma that could have caused the break. They said it was 'hanging by a thread' when they started working. As a responsible doctor, if this was TRUE, they should have informed my friend about the situation and then asked her to return after it was fixed. I seriously doubt they would have worked on her if it was already falling apart....
  
  Everyone there was incredibly rude and refused to accept responsibility for their mistake, and now my friend is going to have a $300 orthodontist bill to get it repaired. Pittsford Family Dental gave her a temporary plastic retainer and basically told her to f*** herself.
  
  If you mess up and ruin a customer's previously existing, perfectly functioning mouthwear, don't you think the responsible and respectable thing to do (as a business who wants returning customers) would be to own up to your mistake and try to help your customer out? My friend is not an unreasonable woman; if the dentist had offered to simply cover the cost of the repair, she would have been entirely happy and likely gone back here again. But no, the dentists and front desk people alike were all horrible, unhelpful, and refused to take responsibility.
  
  Don't go here unless you have extra money to throw around undoing whatever damage they do to your mouth.
